Spring and Cork 2011

Looking back on it now, I've never shown my friends any pictures taken in Ireland. Even I don't use the tab to upload pictures on Facebook or Cyworld. That dosen't mean that I have a secret I want to keep on my own! I'm just lazy, that's it ;D

BUT! I possibly seem to have something fishy going on as some friends always say, I won't deny. You know what, I've been asked if I'm really in Ireland! haha Where could I be if I weren't here? I've been too quiet since I left Korea.

I'm in Cork, a peaceful, lovely, and beautiful city in Ireland. Everything is going so well, and I can't help thinking I'm the happiest person in the world.

So many people who don't have any idea about Cork have asked me what this city is like, but it's pretty hard for me to answer straightaway in deed. My experience and feelings I've got here cannot be explained by words.

But I'd like to share what I see by showing you roughly 50 pictures I took today.

We pray for Japan!

I don't know what's wrong with Japan these days. Terrible things are continuously happening. Earthquakes, the tsunami, the explosions of power plants..

When I heard about these horrible disasters for the first time, I couldn't help worrying about my Japanese friends in their country. Fortunately, they are all safe. Thanks, God! I'm relieved that they are alright.

At this moment, I'm in Ireland, so the only way to know what's going on in Japan is wait for news until night or search the Internet for articles myself.

I check out lots of articles about these disasters online everyday, and can see how much Koreans worry about our neighbor Japan by commenting with a number of supportive words. Those were written in Korean on Korean web sites, so probably only a few Japanese will see them.

But I would like all Japanese to know our concern for Japan and want to tell them '頑張ってください'! (I used the Google translator to write Japanese, so there could be a mistake!) That's why I made up my mind to post this in English.

Hope many Japanese can be hearten and encouraged by this post!

I'm sure that Japan will wisely get over these problems as they do well all the time. Everything will be find and better soon!

We pray for you, Japan.
